Is this a American early watchmaker watch? It has a 3 foot dial which I normally associate those with American.

I would say it is an English verge fusee from the early 1800's just by looking at the style of the movement and the balance cock on it.just about all of the English watches and the continental watches back then had dials with 3 legs on them held on with tapered brass pins.i have had them from the 1700's to early 1900's with the 3 foot dials...Vic
