Hampden Special adjusted -just bragging "Click" to Login or Register

This is a hampden that was in poor shape {paul said it needed a lot} that I bought because it said special adjusted , P&A watch did a bunch of work ,I rounded up a case ,that one was rough too , but polished up nice add a new crystal and it looks good . 17 jwl grade 67 ,5575 produced ,serial 956740 year 1893 , I don't know what the special adjustment is but it is dead on

Kevin, Very nice! I also do not know for sure what was special but my understanding is that the watches marked special adjustment were regulated to be somewhat better timekeepers than what was otherwise acceptable for that grade or model.
