I just obtained my 3rd 12 size Hampden Primus case.

For those of you who own the Hampden Watch Co.Book the Primus cases were made for both 12 and 16 size and are very scarce.

The 16 size Primus have been found on the Grade 105 ( marked Railway Primus),
The 21j New Railway (marked New Ry Primus 21j) and on 12 size 19j Aviators(marked Primus 19j
)and on the 17 j Grade 310 (marked Primus). There are two variants--a wider and narrower ring.

FROM AN EARLIER THREAD
Grade Sz Jls Serial No.

Spcl Railway 18 23 1,722,679
Railway 16 19 1,897,192
Railway 16 19 1,897,961
Spcl Railway 18 21 2,751,559
Dueber 18 21 2,813,595
105 16 21 3,027,447
Railway 16 19 3,317,758
New Railway 16 21 3,326,768
New Railway 16 21 3,452,454
Also a grade 104

I paid $260. If any one knows who the under bidder is I might be willing to sell one of my other Primus cases for what I paid for it. I am hoping that the one I just purchased is in slightly better shape than the other two.

Congratulations

$255 is kind of pricey but it looks like yours is in a little better shape than mine. All three of mine have a little brass starting to show in the edge of the case.
