On page 194 of Shugart's book there is a case marked # 40, can one of you RR guys tell me if this is that case? The stem of this one made me think that this one is # 40. ????

Hi Sheila, Looks close to the model 40 case that I have that houses a BWR.

Hi Tom,
Thank you! I realize that it's just a Printers Plate Ad, but I thought someone would be able to tell. You answered my next question too. What would one put in a case like this? You know me and Elgin's, GOOD CHOICE! For some reason I do like this case a lot, I just may have to look for one of these.

Thanks again for the information.

"Small World Department"

Shortly after I read your post and looked over your images above I was offered the very same watch shown in your ad block. To find the same exact combination gave me one of those weird feelings so I bought it.

Here's the same case, dial and hands...

This one's powered by the relable 21-Jewel B. W. Raymond from 1925 production. You'll also notice the inside of this case-back is also marked "B. W. Raymond Model" so it makes a pretty interesting package.

Nicely marked and very worthwhile watch...

That's a beauty!

Sheila

It looks a lot like the inverse of your ad:

Lindell,
Oh my goodness! That is so weird, and Great!

Boy I sure would love to have that one, it's a Beauty!

Ron, Thank you, Thank you. I tried to get it the other way and finally gave up. That's a great picture of it the way it should be shown.

Lindell, if you ever consider selling it, let me know.
What a honey!

Sheila,

I bought the watch thinking it might be something you'd want to collect along with your advertising block. You may have it for what I paid if you'd like. Otherwise I'll just put it up for sale in either our Mart or Auctions.
