I just acquired this Waltham PS Bartlett. I looked it up in tlhe data base and it says it should be an OF. Is this HC period correct. Comments???

The case with a hinged front bezel is correct for a KS from the front and if the winding hole in the cuvette matches the winding arbor location, I would say it's probably correct & era correct for your KWKS undersprung Waltham which was bought a few years following the Civil War possibly by a surviving soldier.
