Ball Cases "Click" to Login or Register

I have in front of me a 16 size Ball/Hamilton. It is 23J # B606680. I believe this is a 999? I think it dates from around 1915-20, but Iam unclear as to Ball dates. It is in the wrong case. What type of Ball case would be right for this watch?

Hi Jerry,

According to the Gelson List your Ball-Hamilton 23-Jewel 999 number B606680 is from a run consisting of B606001 through B607000 which would be from 1919 through 1922 production.

There were a variety of cases including the "Twentieth Century" a couple of other styles that come to mind. Some of the applicable designs are shown on pages 158 and 159 of Cooksey Shugart's Complete Guide to Watches, 2007 Edition.

Hope that helps,

Lindell
