Waltham 6-size 1890 model "Click" to Login or Register
posted
I'm considering whether to try to revive one of these cute little watches. The staff is broken and I have no reference to identify it. The 1885 Waltham parts catalog identifies the 6- and 8-size movements as taking staff 2103, but that would presumably refer to the 1873 model. Would someone help me, please?

The 6-size 1890 model takes one of two staffs -- numbers 13219 or 13220. The difference is that 13219 apparently has a larger diameter balance shoulder. Interestingly, the staff 13220 may be identical to the 12-size riveted staff, #1842 (they are listed together in the Waltham material cabinet).
