Hello Fred,

Good thread idea.

The Army 992B's are excellent. Any idea of when the changes were made in the case back information? If memory serves, these watches came in a govt. box w/a rubber watch protector and a leather thong. The rubber watch protectors are getting rather hard to find.

The BU. AERO / U.S. NAVY is extremely hard to come by. I wonder if there are any more of those out there?

Best regards,

Greg

fred,

Whooo wee on the Bu Aero watch.... low number there...

from what I have see of the 4992B contracts, the case engraving is spelled out in the contract, i would not expect the 992B to be different... have not seen those contracts though...
