Hamilton Model 21 serial numbers. "Click" to Login or Register
posted
Does anyone know the first and last Navy (circle N) numbers assigned to Hamilton model 21’s and if they were issued sequential? Whitney's "The Ship's Chonometer" gives the count per year, but it's not clear how that corresponds to stamped s/n's.

Thanks in advance

They were assigned sequentially during their early part of manufacture, however that may not directly correspond to the order in which the movements were issued (taking into account testing/adjustments).
