Hello again Scott,
This is the case back off of serial number 3C2243. Sorry I can't send a photo of the movement, I can't figure out how to reduce the size of the photo. This serial number should be close to the end of the run but the writing on the back doesn't match anything on your data base.
What's your opinion?

MS28076, dated 15 Mar 57, superseded AN5740. The MS was canceled 24 Mar 1980. Same spec, different numbers. A lot of AN specs were superseded by MS specs.

At what point did Hamilton remove "US. GOV." from the movements. Is there a certain serial serial or an estimated number to when they stopped stamping it?
