Classic Hamilton Model 22 question

I just purchased a flat box model 22, on the back of the watch it says 1941, I understand their was a 1941 and 1942 contract.

The seial number is 2F-3742.

I have 2 questions first can someone tell the year of production and in service date and second the label on the mounting box is slightly diferent 1941 is gold and 1942 is silver, can someone confirm that?

Skip, The Hamilton ledgers say this watch was finished and sold 2-25-1943 on contract #64-8056. No information on what that contract was.
