John J. Flahive IIIHamilton Military 992B with U.S. Army Markings
Here is one I just picked up. It is an early Hamilton 992B watch with a Type 1 movement signature marked US ARMY. The serial number of C12654 puts the production date to the beginning of WWII (1940-1941). It has blue hands and a Montgomery dial and a base metal case with ordnance markings. I believe it to be all original.
Let me know what you think?

John J. Flahive IIIMovement has the gold center wheel and circular designs on the wheels. Any ideas on how many were made with the US ARMY markings? Is this info in Whitney?

John J. Flahive IIIHere is a cool collage I made in Picasa using the pictures from the ebay listing. I tried to list all of the characteristics that I have observed in military versions of 992B pocket watches.
