Nice watch Greg.Did you get the manual with the watch or some place else?
I guess GM and other car companies were involved in the war effort.

The manuel and other WWII background stuff came from other sources.

Regarding the manuel, General Motors was heavily involved in the war effort, making machine guns, shells, M1 Carbines, pistols, as well as a wide range of vehicles - often at greatly reduced cost. (A corporate spirit which we could shure use more of today, but don't get me started.)
