Enzo was kind enough to point out this intersting Elgin A-11 wristwatch on the German Military Watches Forum.

German Military Watch Forum

It was found by a French team excavating the wreckage of a crashed German 109 fighter. The aircraft is reported to have crashed in June of 1944.
