Waltham military dial : help please "Click" to Login or Register
posted
I have just received a Waltham 16s 9j with standard crowfoot mark (serial 23010, not GSTP), a minty movement, standard keystone screwed base metal case, all perfect BUT the numbers on the black dial and the skeleton hands are rather poor. The movemnt is just too nice to let the watch with such a dial. Is it possible to find a new dial, or what else can I do to improve it ?
Thanks a lot

Hi Mario,
If you look back a few days I have the same watch and pretty much asked the same questions. Look to my link and there are several answers there.
Good Luck with your new watch, they are really quite interesting.

Bill,

So who did you end up having the dial refinished with?

Steve,
As yet I have not had it done, but am thinking I will use International when I do.
Yours looked so good.
