Elgin 690 mainspring sources "Click" to Login or Register

Greetings all, I was attempting to fix a slipping issue with my Elgin 8 day aircraft clock and managed to snap the end off one of the mainsprings (it has two) at the arbor end.

Does anyone have a source for these springs? A bit larger than my normal watch springs at 750mm x 3mm x 0.2mm, with a tongue end.

Alternatively, anyone had luck with punching a new hole in the arbor end, and how did you go about it.

Sorry, should add it's an AN-5743-2 and the part number is 1790-22-6, and here is a link to some pics in a prior post.
