Hi Vincent.

Thank you for the images of your German Tutima military chronograph. While most military issue watches are of Spartan simplicity, your Tutima chronograph is a sleek and stylish watch. The chronograph push buttons have been cleverly designed to avoid the possibility of catching on equipment.

According to Konrad Knirim, in his book MILITARUHREN MILITARY TIMEPIECES, these watches were introduced in 1983. They were issued to Air and Navy aviators, Army reconnaissance troops and submarine crews of the Bundeswehr. Some of these fine watches were also purchased by the U.S. Government.

These watches are highly sought after by collectors!
