Greetings, With any luck, my obsession has finally come to an end (at least that is what I tell the wife). I've finally acquired four of the five types of Hamiltons: - 2E "N" series - 4E Series - 4 orbit - 3E Series - Army Air Force 24 hr - post War commercial - Maritime Commission (variant of post war type) I'm still working on the Maritime Commission type - just a matter of finding one that is of suitable quality and matching box/movement/dial. As for the others, these are all done: - N41 (2E041) - Early Hamilton (in original pre-S/N 337 box) - only problem is that gimbal ring appears to have been redone - 4E004 - 4 Orbit - this is the one in Whitney's book "Ship's Chronometer" page 73 and was sold by Sotheby's in 1982. Authenticity has been verified - 3E0017 - Army Air Force 24 hr. - 2E11269 - post war commercial - actually came out of jewelry shop and shows next to no wear at all As for pictures, here you go: ![]() | |||
