Very rare Kriegsmarine Beobachtungsuhr made by Schätzle & Tschudin "Click" to Login or Register
posted
I am proud to show a very rare Kriegsmarine observer watch made by the 1909 in Pforzheim foundet German watch company Schätzle & Tschudin. The watch is in great shape, very heavy and huge. On the back of the silver made case is the very detailed Kriegsmarine eagle, the "M" for "Marine" (Navy) and the Kriegsmarine equipment number "17177". My friend Konrad Knirim is showing such a watch for the Deutsche Seewarte in his second book on page 233. The very known brands of Schätzle & Tschudin were "Favor" (like this one) and "Unidor". During WW2 Schätzle & Tschudin also made high quality movements for the Luftwaffe and supported famous watch makers like Lange & Söhne. Observer watches made by Schätzle & Tschudin are not very often to find - so I am happy to share this beautiful watch of my collection with the community.

Regards, Florian
