Thank You Enzo! Nice thought. I and my father (ALSO Ernst Abbe) have use Abbe optics many times. But the Ernst Abbe Optics genius is not related unfortunately. Our Abbe name came from England in 1635, sailing here as John Abbe on the Bonaventure (possibly to escape the sherriff). We have been troublemakers in the Americas ever since. | |||
