WWI watches for kids
Most collectors know that the earliest military wrist watches were pocket watches in leather cases which could be strapped to the wrist. Sometimes called wristlets.

Kids notice things. Like the watch worn by Daddy or big brother going off to fight in The Great War. And so we have here a card of toy wristlets for kids. Most likely forgotten in the back of a toy store.

From examining these things I don't believe they would have held up very well in play. The hands will move when the crown is turned, but they were not made to tick or tell time. Only toys for show.
