I need to notify you all of an error found on the Whitney's, Military Timepieces, which is one of the few military timepieces books which infact doesnt contain errors.

My correction is due in view of the interest raised by the article that our team wrote and published about the Elgin Canteen watches and for future follow ups..

Pag 582 fig 94 depicts an Elgin Canteen but the text is related to an Hamilton Canteen. It is still to be understood the meaning of the text and whether it was supposed to be there anyhow the item should be addressed with care...
