I recently found a Seth Thomas movement only, and it was marked 6 3/4......and in desperate need of some TLC....would anyone know what type of case this movement would have been used in? Thanks

Wayne,It looks like an early 30 hour Seth Thomas movement.Made around the first decade of the 20th century. Those movements were usually found in Kitchen or Gingerbread clocks. They usually had a bell strike.
I hope this is of some help to you.
