I recently purchased this clock at auction. I believe the type might be referred to as "open well". As always, any information about it from members would be appreciated.

Ken, Old post, but nice clock! What have you learned about it? What type of chime/strike?

Dave, I did not learn anything more about the clock. It struck on a coiled wire gong. I sold the clock.
