Ged PitchfordViennas
Nice Clocks John, Have a look at my two examples, My 3 weight is still in the US, I bought a pup' on Ebay and got Burnt badly. I don't think it will ever run. Enough of my troubles after all it's only money.

John ArrowoodVery nice clocks, Ged. I like the combination of the ebonized trim on a walnut case. There's a two-weight here that is definitely German, but the name on the dial is G. Snaith, Wigton.

Ged PitchfordThanks for comments John, The single weight is one of my favourite clocks, I like the half column trim with finials and the contrasting ebonised parts against the Walnut, as you comment on. Regards, Ged.

Ged PitchfordJohn, I forgot to mention the retailer of the German clock "Snaith of Wigton". Wigton is in Cumbria just South of the Scottish border in the West of the country. Regards, Ged.

John ArrowoodAnd this one is a Becker, silvered chapter ring, center of dial, weights, and pendulum bob match.

John ArrowoodLast one, another 3-weight. I think this one is Austrian; the word "Wein" appears somewhere on the gong bracket I think. The gongs on this one are circular and attached to a bracket on the back of the movement. It may be a recase but it has been in the possession of my family since the mid-1960's.

Ged PitchfordJohn, Thanks for showing us your Viennas, They are one of my favourite clocks/types.I suppose you may know this "WIEN" is the same as Vienna, My wife and eldest daughter were there in August for a few days and the Postcard she sent me had "WIEN" on it.
I think all collectors should have a set of 3Viennas , A single ,A double and a3 weight version. I'm still looking for another 3 weight. Regards, Ged.
