Hi Folks. I have a platform escapement with a broken bottom pin on the escape wheel. I have a spare escape wheel that is identical in every way except that it is longer. What I would like to do is swap the escape wheel shaft so that the replacement fits. Does anyone know if they are screwed , glued, soldered in place?. Thanks, Steve.  | |||

Ok folks, all sorted. Just for your information, the escape pillar is a press fit into the platform with no adhesive or solder. Regards from the UK..........Steve. | ||||
