Bank Vault Clock "Click" to Login or Register

This appears to be a clock used in timing something, perhaps a locking device on a bank vault, or a device that allowed the vault to be opened at certain times. If anyone knows anything more specific about it I would appreciate any info you have.

The dial indicates bank protection.

The movement appears to be a Seth Thomas #10, eight day lever.

I saw this clock and borrowed the picture from an ebay auction. It is described only as a bank vault clock.

Perhaps the small clock I have is like the one in the center of this one.
