Telechron Didn't Just Sell Clocks "Click" to Login or Register

While at my Moms, I found my Grandfathers Telechron barometer. From what I have found on line it was made between 1939 and 1944. I am trying to decide if I want to leave the patina or polish it (what do you think?). Also any tips on polishing the crystal?

Hard to take a clear picture with the dirty crystal.

Michael, Is the crystal glass or plastic? If plastic it could be a type of plastic that yellowed through the years and if glass and was scuffed it could be polished with cerium oxide.
