Help needed on date of Jerome weight driven clock "Click" to Login or Register
posted
Hi All,
I am trying to help a neighbor determine the age of an old Jerome & Co. weight driven clock made in Nu Haven, Conn. It has 2 weights but only strikes the hour. I thought all 2 trains struck the 1/2 hour and the hour. Any help would be appreciated.
I will try to post some pictures
Thanks, Don

1880. I believe it was made by the new haven clock company using the Jerome and Co name. Chauncey Jerome had a plant in new haven conn. from 1840-45 but was destroyed by a fire. Label dates it to around 1880 I think.
