Does anyone have any info on this maker? Date? Value?
Nice Label states:
"Patent Spring Brass Clocks Made and Sold By Elisha Manross Bristol, Conn."

I've found info. that they made clocks for others under the name: Elisha Manross, Atkins, Porter and Co., but no info. on clocks for just Manross

E. Manross was born in 1792 in Bristol Conn, latter called Forestville. Was invloved in the clock business from 1812 till his death in 1856. Forestville was a hotbed of clock making ventures till WWII. Your clock was made in the 1840's if it is a signed label. It appears to be a 30 hour clock. Price is 150 to 250 range.
