Identification of English? Bracket Clock "Click" to Login or Register
posted
Hello all:

Could someone help me identify a very nice inlaid bracket clock with the following markings:

On the dial:

Carroll
London St. E. C.

I suspect that is the merchant.

On the backplate of the movement in a key-shaped logo:

Coventry

Beneath the logo:

Astral

Please help with any information on this clock.

Thanks, Frank. Would that be a clockmaker or a merchant? Is there further information?

Don't have that book. Will check the library.
