Tall Clock Arbroath U. K.
I am researching a tall clock. The False Plate is stamped Walker and Finnemore ( 1805-1811 according to my info)The white painted dial has been repainted, but above center I can make out --broath (Arbroath I presume)on the right, and on the left is Chas (the "s" is higher than the lower case ha, and the sir name is T-bui---. I am looking for a clock maker or shop keeper in this time frame. Hows that for a shot in the dark ? gmaci

Gordon, I tried to match the "T-bui--" in Britten's, but could not find a match. Good luck with the search. Maybe one of our British members can give a helping hand.
