Seth Thomas Crystal Regulator Clock empire #1 extra

This clock is supposed to be vintage 1908. Does anyone know much about this clock? Sorry, I haven't been able to take pictures of it. The owner says it has a porceline dial. Is this a rare clock?

Don, Tran Duy Ly shows the Empire no.1 Extra to have " Rich Gold Finish. An Extra Fine Finished Case. Height 11 inches, Base 6 3/4 inches List in 1909 $32.50" Seems to differ from the Empire #1 in that the #1 had a dull bronze finish.. Was a quarter inch shorter and cost $33.70 !!??

Sure looks to be a pretty clock. I'd like to see some phots of it. Mike
