Hi all need some help with name of the manufactur
of this ogee clock.
the dial is made out of wood just painted.
I did pull out the movement and there is no marks
on back or front just bunch of service
dates scribes any help will be good.

Hi Peter, I have a couple of the ogee clocks that I don't know the maker or date of. Seems like everyone made them.
I'd think the wooden dial would date it pretty early, if it's original. The shape of the cutouts in the front plate also could be a clue to the maker.
I tried to find a maker useing "Smith and Clark" or anything similar and found nothing. I'll bet thats a retailers label. Not much help but I'll bet if you search a lot of Movement photos you'll find a match

The movement looks like the Waterbery one I had
last year .
I did shith and clark search but its not much to go by .
Thanks for looking any way.
