Iron Key "Click" to Login or Register

I've had this iron key for years and know nothing about it. I saw one very similar on EBay with an "Italian Bracket Clock". Any way to tell if I've got a reproduction or an old key? Is this a common reproduction? Thanks Mike

GREETINGS MICHAEL, THE KEY YOU HAVE IS NOT A TRADITIONAL CARRIAGE CLOCK KEY BECAUSE IT IS NOT DOUBLE ENDED. THOSE TYPE KEYS WERE USED ON PICTURE FRAME CLOCKS AND OTHER FRENCH MANTEL CLOCKS. THE KEY SIZE IS #7 OR 4 MM WHICH IS .157 OR 5/32. IT IS A SWISS SIZE NOT AN AMERICAN SIZE.EDDIE
