Unfamilair tall case movement "Click" to Login or Register

This is a strange one for me. Not so much the movement/works itself, but the way the weights are attatched and the engraving on the front plate. Anyone have any ideas where and when this was made? And why all of the strange engraving?

There are a couple of "a's" scattered around.
Seems to read: " Waft D Krichlon"
"aisle"
and other lettering, it looks to me like someone was practicing engraving!?

looks like a mid 18th century English tall case movement. Very country looking movement as compared to a finer made London movement.Looks like the maker had a old piece of brass that he used for the front plate. Remember brass was a large expense to the maker. Could not fine the maker in Baillie's
