Can anyone help me with the name of this clock and an approximate manufacture date? I do not have "The Book." Many thanks,
Dick

I should add that this one chimes and strikes on nested cup bells. I think the chime train is behind and separate from the main movement.

Tran's book lists it as "Chime clock No. 57, ca 1914, four bells."

Great looking clock. And those nested bells sound very sweet.

Tom, Thank you very much for the info. Yes, the nested bells are sure sweet. I just wish it were not a "visitor." I guess I will just have to save my money and put one on my "wish list."
I really need another clock, anyway.
Thanks again,
Dick

I agree Dick,

The Seth Thomas Sonora Chime is one of the most pleasant and melodic sounds you'll ever hear. It is a very soothing sound to have in your home.

Tom, Lindell,
Can you help me to understand what nested bells are?
Also a picture with an explanation would help me greatly. Thanks,
