Aiglon Mother-of-Pearl Clock.
Tom, I couldn't add or reply to your post so I started another. I have, over the years seen several of this type of clock. There were some old early ones with Enamel Faces and some later or Repro' with painted faces, a bit like the American Banjo scenario.
I can't find out anything on the maker, but i found an article on the clocks in "COLLECTABLE CLOCKS" By Alan& Rita Shenton. Regards, Ged. PS Nice Clock.

Tom , The book I have was first published in 1977, My copy is 1985. I also have revised Price List Publication 1998 and this gives new price estimate £300 And £200 if painted dial. I would imagine you could double those now and probably treble them. Regards, Ged.

Ged,
Thank you very much for the information. I was able to read the text in the pictures. Very interesting.

The dial on mine is the reverse painted glass type, not the porcelain. The pendulum bob is numbered and the key looks to be original, or at least very old.

Thanks again for the information.
