I'm thinking of purchasing a vintage Citizen Challenge Time chronograph, circa 1972, from a site that is claiming it is 100% original. It's described to be in excellent condition and the price is under $300. However, another site devoted to Citizen Bullhead watches says the serial numbers on the caseback were only assigned to those watches with black or white dials. The watch for sale has a green dial. I sent an email to the seller explaining my Comcern but have received no response. Question: would that watch even with an aftermarket dial still be a bargain at that price? | |||
