I just bought this ca 1922 Waltham wristwatch in a 14K cushion case. It has a 15-jewel 6/0 Sapphire movement. As I removed the Speidel band that someone added in recent years I found that instead of spring bars this watch uses wire rods that are threaded into one lug. One is still there, with a tube around it, but the other is missing. Are these bars still available or must one make a replacement? Does anyone know what metal it should be?
