i apologize for this one.
need to take a sharper pic of the face of the watch, but wanted to post this one right along with the others.

Lori,
welcome to the IHC 185, glad to have you on board Smile

I've taken a quick look at both your wristwatches, and unless I'm dead wrong I believe they fall into the "Costume Jewelry" category. Personally I've never heard of either of these brands. Maybe some other member can shed some light on them. Frown

Sorry.

Dave, I agree with you. I have seen these types of combo bracelet/watch items at a few jewerly and antique shows to include Brimfield

hi guys & thanks for responding... and so quickly!
just 2 weeks ago, nothing showed up when i did a google search on paul portinoux.
i should have checked again before i posted this.
i just googled again,
i typed: "paul portinoux" swiss watch in the search field, and there were 2 pages of hits, where once there were none.
check that out, if you like.
there are pics of several PP watches.
i think i'll still take them both in to get checked out.
i also have 3 hamilton, 2 bulova, i harvester, and one old timex electric.... if you'll allow me to further pick your brain.
i'll have to take some pics first, though.
thanks again!!
