Broken Citizen...some help please? "Click" to Login or Register
posted
It is a JR3090 titanium Blue Angels edition Skyhawk w/C651 movement.

It was second hand and I got it in a junk shop or $2! Smile I didn't think it worked at first. Pulled battery out, reassembled, and viola...it worked! But only for about 6 months. Frown

Now, the hour hand doesn't budge at all (stuck on 12 o'clock), but all other functions, hands seem to be working just fine.

Nevertheless...any help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

These can also become dirty as I believe there are pinions turning within the movement. I think it's simpler to exchange the movement. Peter's comment would be a good place to look second, after checking to see if the battery was fresh.
