my accutron 219 stops working... once in awhile the hour and minute hands would stop moving, most of the time the minute hand stopped at 17 till. I havnt worn it for a month or so, and now it dosnt hum, i suppose the battery could be dead, but is it worth having fixed ? i hear that the 219 are somewhat rare?

Hello John,
I think that they are worth fixing, if you like the watch. The 219s aren't as popular as the 214s and the 218s. When was the last time it was serviced?
