Mark NathansonHelp Identify Hamilton Watch-Sentinel?
I looked for this watch and couldn't find model and have no idea of it value, if any. I know it is 17 jewels. Can someone help identify this watch and let me know if there is any value here? Appreciated, thanks.

Dan MitchellLooks to be a Hamilton SENTINEL, introduced 1941, with a 987S hack movement.
It is interesting to see how Hamilton made the hack function - basically a bit of bent wire is pushed into the path of the balance wheel, thus stopping it.
The basic movement is the 987A modified to take a center seconds, and the added hack function.
Often used in Military Hamiltons of the 1940's.

Mark NathansonThanks, I saw that picture listed, but the Hamilton signature was curved near the top, not straight like this. I am attaching a better picture. Notice the hamilton is staight not currved near top. Is there any value in this watch?
