Attaching a picture. This style looks to be a Hamilton Yorktown. But the picture in Price Guide has different hands. Is this a Yorktown and is the hands original for this watch? Thanks.

If 10K gold-filled it will be a Yorktowne, while if 14K gold-filled it will be a Clark - the 2 are very similar. But it looks like a Yorktowne to me.

Hands may differ because some US jeweller in the last 50 years changed them for many possible reasons. Omnibus guide books are not always accurate in the details. See Hamilton's 1937 and 1940 official catalogs.

It will be relatively easy to get the missing hour marker from an old dial with the correct style of marker - even if it is not a Clark dial the tiny pins will be in the correct place to fit your dial.
