Not too sure about union special.Heard very little of them.A nice old watch but in need of a **** good clean.Only paid £13.50 sterling for this and a parsons.

Your union special has just a different finish + the 'union special' label done in the same style.

I have seen a later watch marked 'union special' on the dial and 'Rotary' at the movement. Maybe 'union special' was just a trade mark.
