Which wristwatch did you wear today?
Today I wore one of my favorite "Oysters." It is from the late 1920's, features a 10.5 ligne Rebberg Rolex "Ultra Prima" 15j movement, Elinvar hairspring, and keeps excellent time.

Not a collectible per se, but a lovely watch I have wanted for 20 years and just bought last month. A deep blue dial Seiko 5 with 21 jewel automatic movement. Keeps perfect time, has just the right heft to it and to my eyes is gorgeous.

Different day, different watch. Just received this Sea-Gull M171S...the finest watch I own (OK, I am a newbie with 3 watches!).

Bought from U.S. Sea-Gull website with 2 days from order to receipt...very satisfied with rapid service and answers to my questions. Here it 'tis, cheers, Roger:

Ray,
Thank you for your comments, I find this a really comfortable piece.
It is gradually taking the top slot in wrist time.

Hi Bill,
That's a Marathon Navigator, 2010 issue. A very comfortable and lightweight watch that keeps incredible time, to the second over almost three weeks and the lume - you could almost read a book with it.
Today something a bit different, a ss cased Cyma 15 jewel, not sure of exact age but around late thirties early forties.
Excuse the quality of the pic. a quick grab with the iphone.

Dana, nothing wrong with that photograph, got my grey cells working so that was good.
Love this section of the forum, really shows a wonderful range of watches.
Unfortunately I wont be able to contribute indefinitely.
Today suited and booted so a bit of bling required.
