John WoolseyMovement, recently serviced and running very sweetly!
A curious 'mod' on this watch is a brass bushing on the escape wheel!
It appears too 'factory fit' to have been a later repair .... unless the watchmaker that fitted it was a real demon.
The lip that is usually 'rolled' over a typical jewel is too thin to roll back and then re-swage on a replacement without visible damage of some sort, but this bush is held by a rim as perfect as any holding the jewels!
