Which wristwatch did you wear today?

Adam M. DubinWhich wristwatch did you wear today?
Here is a white 14K Coronado. I believe the dial was refinished at some point (it's just too
white), but the inlaid enamel of the dial markings is original.

Phillip SanchezI was able to snag one of those Jules Junghans atomic watches like the one Matt Sutton auctioned off here and won by Bob Schussel in August.
Put all of the pocket watches back in the watch case for the time being.
Nothing like having the exact time.

Robert V. JonesWow Cary sure looks nice you want your money back for the watch now.

Thanks for not melting it down as so many are doing.

Adam M. DubinI took this photo on Saturday (a beautiful day in Chicago), but I'm still wearing the watch...

Adam M. DubinJust got this one in. Dates from 1959. It's a venerable manual-wind model, the Oysterdate ref. 6694, produced for about 25 years until the early '80s or so. In the late '50s it was produced in something other than boring stainless steel with smooth silver dial (most around
are pretty plain), and this one has an alternate red/black (roulette) date wheel. The original crown should have been gold as well, and I am sourcing one, as well as matching two-tone bracelet (that'll be harder).

Adam M. DubinSome autumnal colors today, this ca.1941 coral gold-filled Wilshire. The dial was previously refinished. Nowadays I'd be looking for something more original, but this is a looker nonetheless...

Adam M. DubinI've been wearing this all week. It's a ca. 1956 Seamaster cal. 321 chronograph, 34mm case. Keeps perfect time.

Adam M. DubinHere is the gorgeous movement.

Adam M. DubinIn South Jersey this week for the holiday; lots of autumnal colors that we just don't get in Chicago.
Here's my Explorer 1 (1016) from the late '60s.

Dave FreemanHappy Thanksgiving to everyone.

Adam those are some great looking watches you've been showing us.
I'm also impressed with the colorful shirts you've been wearing.
Today I decided to wear my all original LeCoultre Memovox Automatic Alarm
C.1970. It has a highly polished SS case with a 14K gold capped bezel ring.

Matthew E. SuttonDave,
Happy Thanksgiving to you as well.
I have a question about the image of your watch. The manufacture name is upside down, but the date is correctly read as upright.
A very odd dial. Thanks, Matt

Dan MitchellThe central disc rotates - it is the alarm setting, hence the second crown !

Adam M. DubinDave, thanks for the compliments on my wardrobe...

For today I decided on this solid 14K green gold Square B Engraved (1930 or so). Dr. Bill should remember this one, which he briefly owned before me. Hamilton didn't offer this model in solid
yellow gold, only gold-filled (unlike the Tonneau). This is a rare one (only 165 made with this case variation according to René's book).

Adam M. DubinI'll probably have on this today, a very recent acquisition. It's an Illinois Blackstone in white gold-filled. Lovely little watch.

Dave FreemanToday it's a lovely YGF Rolex 17J automatic from the late 1950's.
I believe YGF Rolexes from this era and in this type of condition are pretty rare.

Adam M. DubinBill, it's a beauty! You should attempt a wrist shot. I was wondering just how large a watch it is...
