Adam M. DubinHamilton Lexington, ca. 1942, their first stainless steel-cased watch. It's quite small (28 mm).

John ArrowoodThis one is a Davosa Jumbo, 45 mm wide including crown. I bought it from D. Freemont several years ago. I couldn't find it on the Davosa site with a cursory search so it may be a discontinued model. I think it has a Unitas pocket watch movement, hence the seconds bit at 9:00. I didn't want to remove the back.

Michael DiasYesterday I wore this Calendographe made in France. It's an interesting piece as it has a date hand. Love the horn lugs also.

Dan MitchellI finally managed to assemble a Hamilton watch with the seconds indicator at the 9 position. This is an early 1920's wristwatch - not quite the first man's watch, but earlier than any other I have.
The case is, alas, in poor shape - so if anyone has a better case in g/f or solid gold, or silver -please do get in touch.

Adam M. DubinHamilton Oval engraved, in white gold filled, ca.1927. The dial had been refinished in a style slightly different than original (not two-tone), with "warm luminous" numerals. I purchased this from Bill Hansen, our co-moderator.

Adam HutiraGreat watches everyone! Wore my Roamer Stingray today. It is actually my everyday watch, which is why crystal has a few scratches and sad to see the dirt on the pusher.

I didn't notice it until I took the pic. Time to go clean.

Frank KusumotoI wore my regular watch but I changed the movement...

Jerry TreimanAlthough I usually wear a pocketwatch I had occasion to wear this 1923 Waltham the other evening. The new band nicely accents (I think) the green gold case. Rather than spring bars this watch has threaded rods that screw through the lugs.

Adam M. DubinHamilton Square B engraved in white gold filled, prefectly redialed. I've since put on it a glossy black crocodile strap.

Rich KuhnA find from Dearborn a nice Illinois
Illinois Speedway or No. 178
The case is pictured on page 199 of the Illinois watch book by Fredric J Friedberg and is marked No. 178. It features a 17-jewel grade 307 movement. From what I can find the watch came with a few different dials some porcelain.
I got this along with a Bulova asymmetrical but I cannot remember from “whom” (please let us know).
The case dial and hands were great shape the movement had problems but since it is an Illinois I just had to fix it. Pictures below (the last shot is of my dedicated helpers who keep me on the straight and narrow while I work).
